Luke Willis

Luke joined Howdens for an apprentice role just before he was made homeless. When Luke told his line manager, we promoted him to make it easier to find somewhere to live. Since then Luke's career with Howdens has grown from strength to strength.

Ellouise Woodruffe

Having grown up in the foster-care system, Ellouise learned to be self-reliant at a young age. She joined Howdens as an apprentice at 16, following her interest in design. Now a kitchen sales designer, Ellouise has grown in confidence inside and outside of work.

David Aaku

James Thompson

Starting as a Forklift Operator, James has spent the majority of his working life at Howdens. Through hard work and dedication, James worked his way up to become Operations Manager for our rigid cabinets site.

Arriving at Howdens at 18 on a two-week contract, Andy found more than just a job - he found a career. Now an Operations Manager for our worktops division, he says the most rewarding part of his job is developing the team around him.
